Sneha Abhiyan considers child protection as the prevention of or responding to the incidence of abuse, exploitation, violence and neglect of children. This includes commercial sexual exploitation, trafficking, child labour and child marriage. Protection also allows children to have access to their other rights of survival, development, growth and participation. Sneha Abhiyan, has been block level nodal agency appointed by the district child protection unit. Sneha Abhiyan is vigilant across the program areas through its volunteer network. In collaboration with CHILDLINE and local police,SnehaAbhiyan has solved more than 250 children issues such as early marriage, abuse and child labour in past10 years.
Sneha Abhiyan, a non-governmental, non-profit organization registered under Society Registration Act 1860, is set up to develop and implement solutions that balance the need for food, shelter, rights, income and environmental quality prescribed for all.
