Pratidhwani: To echo the voice of women :

Every year, Sneha Abhiyan has been organizing women convention named “Pratidhwani” in Erasama block to facilitate the rights issue of women, children, PWD, Older people and other maginalized groups. This has been a forum, where women leaders from different part of the district gather and voice out against the discrimination they face in day-to-day life. Moreover this platform offers an opportunity for women leaders to interact directly with different stakeholders such as senior government officials, PRIs, Policy makers, eminent activists, youth leaders, etc. The broad objectives of the Pratidhwani are.

  • To provide a platform for interaction among community leaders on various issues like women and child rights as well as local issues.
  • To offer an open forum for women leaders to interact with development professionals, social thinkers, social activities, members of legislation, Government authorities and community leaders.
  • To enhance networking between various community-level organization and Government departments and to encourage them to work towards social inclusion.

We Collaborated With

Sneha Abhiyan, a non-governmental, non-profit organization registered under Society Registration Act 1860, is set up to develop and implement solutions that balance the need for food, shelter, rights, income and environmental quality prescribed for all.
