Snehaabhiyan ensures that women have nutritious diets and adequate services and care is fundamental for the survival and well-being of mothers and their children. Before pregnancy, women get nutritious and safe diets to establish sufficient reserves for pregnancy. Sneha Abhiyan has been identified as the Nodal agency for block Rogi KalyanSamiti in Erasama.SnehaAbhiyan has organised 93 awareness meetings on breastfeeding, Infant and Young Child Feeding and mother care.Awareness generation to community especially adolescents to access the services from ICDC program through AnganwadiCentre.SnehaAbhiyan, through its partnership with district NRHM provided training to RogiKalyanSamities in Erasama and Balikuda blocks. By regular awareness program, Sneha Abhiyan, trying to raise the awareness level in villages on exclusive breastfeeding, Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) and care for pregnant and lactating mothers.
Sneha Abhiyan, a non-governmental, non-profit organization registered under Society Registration Act 1860, is set up to develop and implement solutions that balance the need for food, shelter, rights, income and environmental quality prescribed for all.
