Negative attitudes held by the families of the disabled, and often the disabled themselves, hinder disabled persons from taking an active part in the family, community or workforce. Differently abled people face discrimination in everyday life. Community integration for people with disabilities seeks to remedy these disconnects by creating inclusive, diverse societies.Mainstreaming disability throughout the program implementation is a top priority for Sneha Abhiyan. Sneha Abhiyan is the district lead member of Odisha State Disability Network.
Sneha Abhiyan, a non-governmental, non-profit organization registered under Society Registration Act 1860, is set up to develop and implement solutions that balance the need for food, shelter, rights, income and environmental quality prescribed for all.
